We Empower teen/child mothers and children with special needs or congenital abnormalities to reach their full potential through education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.

We provide our beneficiaries with education, skills training, economic empowerment programs, and medical assistance. Our founders bring their unique expertise to ensure a comprehensive approach to addressing the challenges faced by our target communities.

Education

Busoga Region Takes Action to Prevent School Dropouts — The Ankole Times

The situation is worse in the remote areas of Busoga and to the extremes among the vulnerable communities among whom we work we work.

This is responsible for a range of limitations and deprivations that perpetuate absolute and chronic poverty

Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aims to ‘ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all’ by 2030. Seven specific targets were identified for SDG goal 4 which addresses specific areas of educational needs. For example, target 4.1 emphasize that ‘by 2030, ensure that all girls and boys complete free, equitable and quality primary and secondary education leading to relevant and effective learning outcomes.

Planned Activities

  • Establish a vocational training center in Kamuli town for teen/child mothers
  • Partner with healthcare providers to offer medical services for children with special needs in the district
  • Implement income-generating projects for economic empowerment in various sub-counties
  • Create a mentorship program for teen/child mothers and their children in Kamuli District

Current Status

  • Conducted community outreach visits to identify vulnerable children and families in need
  • Provided nutrition therapy and supplements to malnourished children in partnership with healthcare providers
  • Secured access to necessary nutrition supplements for continued support
  • Ongoing efforts to expand services and reach more beneficiaries in Kamuli District

  • Conduct regular medical outreaches for free medical treatment, assessment, and minor surgeries
  • Establish a vocational institute for mothers

  • Create a community garden for food security and income generation
  • Partner with organizations to provide psychological support and counseling services
  • Advocate for policies and programs supporting teen/child mothers and children with special needs
  • Expand services to reach more districts in the Busoga Region
